Industrial lift tables have beneficial applications for automotive, food, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, construction, and any other facility where heavy lifting is part of the job. When choosing your table, you will need the anticipated load capacity required to ensure your table meets your specifications. Capacities can range from several hundred to several thousand pounds in our light-, medium-, and heavy-duty table options.
The lift tables are user-friendly to operate and require only minimal operator training. For most tables, you can choose between foot switches and hand controls to operate.
One of the most advantageous features of an industrial lift table is that it has a shallow profile when closed (approx. 6.5” – 10” on average) but can raise as high as 30” – 98” – supporting a healthy, ergonomic position for workers.
The useable surface area ranges from 24” x 36” up to 60” x 156” depending on the table you choose. If applicable, you can also equip your lift with a flush or platform turntable, ball transfer table, or tilt platform.
You’ve Got the Power
Industrial lift tables fall into three main power choices: hydraulic, pneumatic, and scissor. All three offer a range of table sizes, load capacities, and optional accessories.
- Hydraulic lift tables are activated by hydraulic cylinders. They are the most common tables and have the highest capacity.
- Pneumatic lift tables rely on compressed air in the cylinders. Using air vs. fuel as the power source makes these tables safe to use in nearly any environment.
- Scissor lift tables do not require a power source; instead, they are spring operated. The spring feature allows the table to adjust automatically to dynamic loads. While hydraulic and pneumatic tables may use scissor legs for support, they are not considered actual scissor lift tables.
Safety Accessories
With all that power comes great responsibility, so check out the optional safety features that may apply to your lift table use.
- Contoured edges
- Safety yellow features
- Toe protection
- Casters for easy mobility
- Bellows skirting to prevent access to moving parts
