Customized Warehouse Rack Labels & Markers
Your pallet racking systems will require a variety of identifiers. The most common types include the following, but the Apex team provides whatever you need!
Warehouse Rack Aisle Markers - Rack markers are crucial in organizing inventory and facilitating warehouse efficiency. The aisle markers come in various forms, such as labels, signs, or tags, and are typically placed on or near rack rows. You may need several versions to be visible from multiple locations. Aisle markers are often placed high up on the rack to prevent obstruction --the Apex installation team will ensure best placement.
Bar Code Labels - Most labels include a one- or two-dimensional barcode image and letters or numbers. Matrix and QR code images are also available. Precision printing is critical for easy, errorless scanning. Bar code labels are evaluated through a meticulous multi-phase quality checking system before shipping.
Multi-Level Rack Labels - A label with a thousand names…well, just about a thousand. Multi-level rack labels are also referred to as totem labels, tree labels, step labels, upright labels, frame labels, man-down labels, vertical post labels, and possibly even more. Call it what you want; the Apex team will provide just what you need. Multi-level warehouse rack labels offer details for more than one location—most often adjacent or multiple vertical stacks.
Ask about our custom-designed labels for wire deck applications. Wire deck labels are 2.5” H, ensuring clear bar code scanning and easy installation with the wire decks in place.
Long-Range Labels - Two features of long-range labels improve the effectiveness of code scanning from far distances. Highly reflective material facilitates accurate scanning from far distances. This unique material projects light back along its original course to deliver quick, efficient scanning. Also, the wrap design that imprints the bar code on the face and underside of the label facilitates scanning from in front or below the rack beam level.
Storage Rack Weight Capacity Labels - You can’t beat a quick reference to notify forklift operators of crucial beam weight limits. Prevent overloading your racking system, risking warehouse safety, and causing costly rack repairs with a simple, effective label.
Cold Storage Rack Labels - Cold storage facilities require specially designed rack labels capable of withstanding the harsh warehouse climate. Freezer-grade adhesive ensures your rack labels will perform long-term. Let the Apex team install your freezer rack labels, which can be applied at -20℉ to -65℉.
Flue Labels - Some states require 'Keep Clear' labels, but even if not required, these brightly colored labels are effective warnings to ensure flue areas remain free from debris and inventory to comply with fire safety regulations.
Flue spaces are typically 6” of open space behind a row of rack. If rack rows are back-to-back, that space is usually 12” wide, though specs can vary. Customize your labels with maximum load capacity and rack loading instructions to reduce costs vs. two separate labels.
Standard label widths are 1.5″, 3”, and 6” wide labels, and all are available in a range of heights.
