It's 2003...

Armed with a business plan and a vision, one man sets out to secure funding… and is promptly dismissed by over a dozen lenders. Not deterred, he finds a way and Apex is born. Bringing in partners and employees who share the vision, the company thrives, and today, with 150 people and five major business units serving customers nationally, Apex Companies Celebrates 20 Years! So, what was that vision drafted in the cool of John Paul’s basement twenty years ago?

In short, Customer First. Apex's customer-centric model is rooted in identifying the best solution, providing it with honesty and integrity, and doing whatever it takes to help the customer get the WIN!

The icing on the celebratory cake is that we've found like-minded partners who help us deliver on our promise. We've also been privileged with clients who gave us a chance and kept coming back. In fact, a proud achievement is that over 70% of our annual volume comes from repeat business!

Will things change as we move into the future? You bet! But what will remain the same is our approach… with our partners, customers, and even each other.

From Local Material Handling to National Full-Service Resource - What a Story!

DID YOU KNOW?... Apex Companies began as Apex Material Handling Co., a forklift and material handling equipment dealer in the Chicago metro area. As our customers’ need for racking and systems grew, Apex Storage and Apex Warehouse Systems rose to the occasion, which broadened our service area. And, as everyone knows, with racking and equipment… comes repairs! Thus, Apex Rack Repair was born.

The last five years have been the most transformative, with Apex Automation Solutions taking us literally to new heights (see rack-supported building below), and expanding our local presence in both Colorado and the Carolinas regions. Today, Apex provides coast-to-coast full-service warehousing support.
