Pallet Rack Guards
Pallet rack guards are customizable to fit your rack system in high-impact areas. They are commonly painted a bright color such as yellow or orange to distinguish them from the rack as an added visual safety cue. Most pallet rack guards attach at the row ends and front columns. In most instances, it’s recommended to secure the guard to the ground vs. bolting it to the rack to transfer the force away from the rack. Examples include:

Recessed Front Column
Recessing the front column physically removes it from the strike zone. You can identify a recessed column when the lower portion of the front column is angled back or lifted above the ground to create room for the forklift forks to turn into the rack.
