Step Beam Description

Step beams are a style of shelf beam with an “L-shaped” edge or “step” that faces into the rack bay. The step has slots to attach pallet supports, flow racking, or shelf decking, such as wire decking. Our roll-formed step beams clip onto standard teardrop uprights and are secured with safety pins to lock them in place.

Measuring Your Step Beams

Ensure you order the proper beam length by following these steps: Do not include the connectors when measuring –start at the inside of the upright and go to the inside of the opposite upright. Most common beam lengths range from 48” to 108′.
