Step Beam Description

Our step beams feature an “L-shaped” edge or “step” that faces into the rack bay and includes slots for attaching pallet supports, flow racking, or shelf decking like wire decking. These roll-formed beams easily clip onto standard teardrop uprights and are secured with safety pins for stability.

Measuring Your Step Beams

Accurately measuring the beam length is crucial, especially if you have pre-existing uprights. Follow these steps to get it right: exclude the connectors and measure from the inside of one upright to the inside of the opposite upright. 

Measurement doesn’t seem quite right? The most commonly ordered beam lengths range from 48” to 108′. Contact us if you need help making your choice.
