Semi-automated 2-way PEAK shuttle systems are ideal for managing high-volume inventory with basic storage and retrieval needs. The 2-way pallet shuttles operate within individual storage lanes, traveling back and forth along rails to deposit and retrieve pallets. Depending on the system design, you can support first-in/first-out (FIFO) or last-in/first-out (LIFO) inventory rotation.

How It Works

A forklift loads the shuttle with a pallet into a designated storage lane. As commanded by the remote control device, the shuttle moves to the next open slot, deposits the pallet, and returns to the aisle face. The shuttle is extracted from the storage lane for reloading. 

Built-in sensors intelligently help the pallet shuttle position loads, eliminating empty gaps and ensuring the warehouse's effective capacity aligns with its physical capacity for optimized inventory flow.

Note that a single controller can operate multiple shuttles, allowing for seamless lane filling and emptying with just one command.
